Everett Dale Windyboy of Havre, 68, was arrested on a shoplifting charge after an officer investigated suspicious activity Friday at 10:04 a.m. on First Street West.

Friday at 10:32 a.m., Adult Protective Services reported possible elder abuse.

A caller at Lions Park on 16th Avenue reported Friday at 2:24 p.m. finding a phone.

A Friday 2:40 p.m. caller on Fifth Avenue reported a garage door opener and rental keys were stolen.

John Joseph Bear Jr. of Havre, 32, was arrested on two state District Court warrants, two Justice or City court warrants and a charge of obstructing a peace officer or other public servants after an officer stopped to speak with a man on Third Street Friday at 3:03 p.m.

James Murel Goldsmith Jr. of Harlem, 28, was arrested on charges of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, trespass to property and open alcohol container after a caller on Third Avenue reported two suspicious males Friday at 3:49 p.m.

A hit and run crash was reported at a First Street business Friday at 4:51 p.m.

The theft of an iPad was reported Friday at 5:26 p.m. by a Fifth Avenue caller.

Joseph Raymond Moore of Box Elder, 28, was arrested on charges of partner of family member assault, obstructing a peace officer of other public servant, resisting arrest and assault with bodily fluid and on a Justice or City court warrant after a caller on Third Street reported a man and a woman yelling at each other Friday at 9:45 p.m.

Hunter James Lovenguth of Havre, 19, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence after a caller near Main Street reported a man asleep in a vehicle Saturday at 6:33 a.m.

Rylie Mato Willeto of Havre, 20, was attested on charges of partner or family member assault and minor in possession after a caller asked officers Saturday at 6:50 a.m. to make a well-being check on a family member on First Street Northeast.

Officers investigated a Saturday 8:56 a.m. report of a boy trespassing on 16th Street West.

Stephanie Rita Small of Havre, 37, was issued a summons on two charges of endangering the welfare of children after a caller at Carpenter Park on Fourth Street reported Saturday tat 2:19 p.m. two young children with soiled diapers and no pants swinging on the swing set.

Christopher Allan Steiner of Havre, 35, was issued a summons on charges of dog at large and “other” after a dog attack was reported on Sixth Avenue Saturday at 3:36 p.m.

Kelsi Jodene Henderson of Box Elder, 20, was issued a summons on a shoplifting charge after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 Northwest business reported a possible shoplifter Saturday at 4:57 p.m.

A vehicle that had been egged was reported Saturday at 6:14 p.m. on Oak Drive.

David John McMaster of Chinook, 58, was arrested on charges of DUI and headlamp violation after a vehicle stop on Third Avenue at 10:04 p.m.

Officers investigated a Sunday 4:19 a.m. report from Third Street of a verbal argument between family members.

A Fourth Street caller asked Sunday at 9:20 a.m. to speak with an officer about getting a report done on a Saturday 8:56 a.m. complaint of a trespasser.

Officers investigated a 9:49 p.m. Sunday complaint from a First Street West business and made a 9:52 p.m. vehicle stop on Second Street related to that complaint.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies investigated suspicious activity called in Friday at 10:55 a.m. No location was given.

Marty Jon Krominga of Havre, 45, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant Friday at 11:48 a.m. at Hill County Detention Center.

Morissa Lee Nagel of Box Elder, 29, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants prior to transport at 7:58 p.m. Friday to Rocky Boy Police Department.

A vehicle theft was reported by a Ninth Street East Saturday at 11:29 a.m.

——

Deputies assisting Fort Belknap Police Station investigated an incident Saturday at 3:31 p.m.

Sandra Rose Wilson of Havre, 59, was issued a summons on charges of dog registration and vaccination, dog running at large and nuisance dog after a caller asked Sunday at 1:24 p.m. for animal control assistance on 31st Avenue West.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency personnel responded to eight calls Friday, five Saturday, three Sunday and one early this morning.

Firefighters and an ambulance crew responded to a Friday 12:04 p.m. fire call on the 300 Block of First Street West. The smoke smell was determined to be coming from an air conditioning unit, which was then shut down, and the manager was called.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two 4-week-old kittens of unknown gender, four male cats and four female cats.

The shelter also held a male Dachshund dog, two female and one male mixed-breed dogs, a male St. Bernard-mix dog, a female collie dog, a female 8-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a male 17-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a female 11-week-old mixed-breed puppy and a female Staffordshire bull terrier dog.
