Havre's Mason Dionne transferring to MSU-N

Former Havre Blue Pony Mason Dionne announced via Twitter earlier this week that he is transferring to Montana State University-Northern.

Dionne recently completed his true freshman year at Montana Western, where he was set to play running back from the Bulldogs. However, the 2020 Frontier Conference season was cancelled due to COBID-19, and the Dawgs didn't participate in the special spring season the Frontier wrapped up earlier this month.

In 2019, Dionne earned a Class A all-state selection and received Eastern A first-team honors for offense and defense in his senior season for the Blue Ponies. Dionne was also supposed to play in last year's Shrine Game, but that was also cancelled due to the pandemic.
