Congrats to all the Northern golfers and to head coach Jim Kirkpatrick on a short but fun season, and see you back on the course next fall.
And while college golf might be over, adult leagues are just starting.
Men's league gets underway at Prairie Farms Golf Course tonight and Wednesday, while men's league at Beaver Creek Golf Course also gets underway this week. The first night of men's league is Thursday night at BCGC.
Women's leagues at both Prairie Farms and BCGC are also starting soon.
Of course, with leagues starting up, I want to make sure we receive your results to put in this column every week. All league results must be emailed to gferguson@havredailynews.com or gfergusongriz@gmail.com by Sunday night to ensure the results make that week's From Tee to Green.
Lastly, a big congrats to Byron Ophus of Havre. He carded his first career hole-in-one last week at Prairie Farms. Ophus aced the Par 3 17th hole last Tuesday. He made the shot from 148 yards with an 8-iron. The shot was witnessed by Dennis Murphy. Congrats, Byron.
