The following cases were resolved by Hill County Judge Audrey Barger in January.

Sandy Bob Strauser, born in 1978, was fined $100 for theft, obtaining or exerting unauthorized control over property, first offense, and had dismissed by the prosecution four counts of theft, obtaining or exerting unauthorized control over property, first offense, and charges of criminal mischief pecuniary loss less than $1,500 and trespass to property.
In a later case, Strauser had dismissed by the prosecution charges of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
In a subsequent case, Strauser was found guilty of disorderly conduct, first offense, amended from partner or family member assault, causing injury, first offense.
In a fourth case, Strauser was fined $100 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, two days credited and eight suspended, for disorderly conduct, second offense, amended from partner or family member assault causing injury, first offense, and had dismissed by the prosecution a charge of destruction of or tampering with a communication device to obstruct a criminal offense report.

Jennifer R. Wendland, born in 1979, had dismissed by the prosecution three counts of criminal mischief, pecuniary loss less than $1,500, and charges of disorderly conduct and trespass to property.

Larae Ann Sunchild, born in 1981, was sentenced to 365 days in jail, 43 days credited and 322 days suspended, for partner or family member assault, causing injury; was sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for criminal mischief pecuniary loss less than $1,500, and had dismissed by the prosecution charges of trespass to property and disorderly conduct.

George Jerome Thompson, born in 1949, had dismissed by the prosecution charges of felony assault with a weapon, felony intimidation and destruction of or tampering with a communication device to obstruct a criminal offense report.

Michael B. Donohue, born in 1979, had dismissed by the court a charge of speeding 82 mph in a 70 mph zone.

Michael Wayne Hicks, born in 1959, had dismissed by the court charges of speeding in a truck 73 mph in a 60 mph zone, medical certificate expired, operating a vehicle which has not bee properly registered, motor carrier non-compliant with commercial driver's license regulations, second offense, and operating a commercial motor vehicle after driver placed out of service.

Miguel Alfonso Sanchez, born in 1977, had dismissed by the court charges of driving without a valid driver's license, has never possessed one, and failing to have a child properly restrained.

Erica Kenisha Curtis, born in 1984, had dismissed by the court charges of driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked and speeding 83 mph in a 70 mph zone.

Julian J. Valdez, born in 1983, was found guilty of seat belt violation and speeding 85 mph in a 70 mph zone; was fined $340 for operating a vehicle without liability insurance, third or subsequent offense; and was fined $250 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 days suspended.

Raylene Siebenaller, born in 1986, was found guilty of driving without a valid driver's license and failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance, first offense.

Mercedies Layne Strike, born in 1991, was found not guilty of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and was found guilty of theft, obtaining or exerting control over property, first offense.

Dane Ezekial Strike, born in 1997, was found not guilty of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant.

Richard Peter Hageman, born in 1967, forfeited $110 bond for driving log not current and $200 bond for failing to obey direction to be weighed.

Sheyleighn Kierstin Lamere, born in 1995, was sentenced to 365 days in jail for fleeing or eluding a peace officer; was sentenced to 90 days in jail for reckless driving, first offense; and was found guilty of operating an unregistered vehicle and operating a vehicle without liability insurance, first offense.

Derrick Wade Stamper, born in 1981, had dismissed by the prosecution a charge of unlawful possession or shipping of game fish, bird or animal and was given a deferred imposition of sentenced and fined $800 for hunting or fishing during closed season.
