After a caller reported a stolen vehicle on First Street at 6:42 a.m. Saturday, officers made an arrest at 7:47 p.m. on First Street West. Avery Jordan Boe, who was named in the dispatch log as an involved party, is listed in the jail roster this morning as being held on a charge of motor vehicle theft.

Joshua Steven Kirkaldie of Havre, 32, was arrested on a charge of aggravated driving under the influence after a Sixth Street caller reported Saturday at 12:53 p.m. that a family member who had been drinking just drove away.

A non-injury vehicle crash was reported on Third Street at 1:12 p.m. Saturday.

Officers were called Saturday at 3:23 p.m. to investigate a hit and run crash that occurred on Eighth Street sometime between the previous evening and the time of the call.

Hill County Sheriff's Office
Deputies investigated a complaint reported at a U.S. Highway 2 West business Friday at 2:11 p.m.

Jalen Jaret Watson of Havre, 19, was arrested on a state District Court warrant served at Hill County Detention Center Friday at 3:42 p.m.
Havre Fire Department
Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Friday, three calls Saturday, three calls Sunday and two calls early this morning.

Firefighters responded with an engine and an ambulance Saturday at 10:04 p.m. to a report of a fire on the 300 block of 10th Street. They found that residents had an illegal fire pit and advised them that the fire needed to be put out and the pit changed to meet city ordinances, which explain the location to buildings, allowed construction of the pit and what can be burned. Copies of the ordinance, Assistant Fire Chief Nathan Courtnage said, can be picked up at the fire station at 520 Fourth Street.
Havre Animal Shelter
The shelter this morning held four cats of unknown gender, three male cats and four female cats.

The shelter also held two female and one male 9-week-old mixed-breed puppies, a male St. Bernard-mix dog, a female 18-week-old pit bull terrier puppy, one female and one male mixed-breed dogs, a female 8-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a male 15-week-old mixed-breed puppy and a female Staffordshire bull terrier dog. Another nine 12-week-old mixed-breed puppies were being held separately.

A girl was born Wednesday, April 14, 2021, to Karly and Dan Danielson of Havre.
