April 11, 2021 our precious mom, Lois Bishop, passed away peacefully with family holding vigil.
Lois had undergone chemo and radiation for cancer. She was 89-years old. A transplant to Washington state having lived in Arizona, Montana, Florida and Rhode Island, Lois was well-loved wherever she went.
Celebrating her birthday was always fun and special on February 14th. Her Irish quick wit and sense of humor were amazing.
In her early life, Lois sang harmony with her older sister. A 78-rpm record was produced and their talent was acknowledged. She loved to sing throughout her whole life and was often asked to sing during karaoke night at her senior living apartment complex.
Lois was born February 14, 1932, to Harold and Hazel Clary in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Her parents always referred to her as "little Lolo." Her greatest gift was helping people to "smile" and feel good about themselves. Her greatest loves were her family and her devotion to God and lived her Catholic faith. All of her children are proud to call her mom.
Lois provided love and support to family and friends in life's events, and always, with a great measure of "the lighter side of life." She was one-of-a-kind and will be greatly missed.
Lois was predeceased by her husband of 56-years, Jim Bishop, and by her son John Bishop. She is survived by eight children, 16 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren;
Jim (Chris) Bishop;
Patti Delaney (April Raber – Tessa, Talon), (Eric Raber (Vanessa) – Elias, Evalucia, Emeliana), (Dustin Hines);
David (Sandy) Bishop (Michael (Casey) – John, Brooks), (Brian (Kaley) – Dawson);

Lois Bishop's celebration of life will be held in the summer of 2021.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
