Havre Elks Lodge #1201 installed the members who will lead the lodge in the 2021-22 year Tuesday April 13.
The members who were installed and their offices are president, Matt Kretchmer; first vice-president, Mike Rappold; second vice president, John Winegar; third vice president, Robert Kurtz; secretary, Brandy Kurtz; esquire, Robert Nieuwenhuyse; chaplin, Debra Herd; tiler, Linda Hoover; inner guard, Greg Tilleman.
The lodge trustees for the 2021-22 year are Arnold Shuland, William Patera, and Donna Tilleman.
President Matt said:
“I look forward to working with these fine members who are graciously donating their time, knowledge and skills to lead the Havre Elks Lodge for the next year,” Kretchmer said “It is volunteers like these, that make Havre Elks Lodge #1201 the premiere charitable and patriotic organization in Hill, Blaine and part of Chouteau Counties.
“Despite being in a global pandemic, Havre Elks Lodge #1201 had a very successful year in our charitable giving to the communities we serve, our area youth, and our veterans,” he continued. “While we are not out of this global pandemic yet, with the rapidly changing positive steps being taken to end this pandemic, we look forward to resuming our normal activities for the community this year.

The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks is celebrating 153 years as the premiere charitable and patriotic organization in America. Locally, Havre Lodge #1201 has over 200 members.
