A fundraiser is set for Friday at Havre Eagles Club to help a woman and her family recover from the fire that destroyed their residence March 30.
Andrea Dess and her family escaped from the fire in their residence on the 3400 Block of U.S. Highway 2 Northeast, but lost their home, belongings and their pets.
She could not be reached for comment by Havre Daily News by printing deadline this morning.
Eagles Auxiliary President Candace Dess, Andrea Dess' sister-in-law, said the fundraiser runs at the Eagles from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday. It consists of an Indian Taco Sale Super Nacho fundraiser for $10, with people able to call 262-0498 to get a delivery for $12.
The fundraiser will include a 50/50 raffle and silent auction.
All proceeds from the fundraiser going to help the family recover from the loss of their home.
Donations of clothes, furniture and kitchenware are being accepted as well. People who would like to donate can contact Candace Dess on Facebook.
