Nolan Lotton, Havre High Track
After not having a track and field season in 2020, Havre High senior Nolan Lotton is making up for lost time. On Saturday, Lotton captured the 100, 200 and 400 meters at the Lions Havre Invitational. For Lotton, it was the continuation of a slew of sprint wins, starting at the Cut Bank Invite back in March, where he swept the 100 and 200. Lotton is also a relay standout for the Ponies, and he also shined on the basketball court in the winter.
Loy Waid, Havre High Track
Havre High senior Loy Waid is getting into the swing of things on the track. After helping the Blue Pony basketball team to their third state championship in four years, and earning Class A honors, Waid is now getting set to dominate on the track. At last Saturday’s Havre Lions Invite, Waid won the 100 meters with a time of 12.9, while also helping the 4X100 relay team to a first-place finish in Havre’s big meet.
