Local News - Food giveaway set for April 27

Community Alliance Church has another food giveaway scheduled for Tuesday, April 27.  

Food distribution will be at 3:30 p.m. and not earlier, a release from the church said.

The boxes will contain seasonal produce, meat and dairy. The church has solicited the help of Havre Police Department for the food deliveries to help with traffic control and to ensure smooth food distribution, the release said.  

The distribution is being done through the Farmers to Families grant and in partnership with Project 180 out of Tulsa, Oklahoma.   

“We anticipate a great turn out and great food,” the release added.

The distribution will run 3:30-5:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, at Havre Community Alliance Church, 925 Eighth St.
