State and local COVID-19 update, March 30, 2021

The total number of cases of COVID-19 in Montana on the state map after today’s update was 104,321 with 157 new cases, 898 active. The number of active hospitalizations was 46. The number of deaths was 1,437.

Although numbers of new cases are down in north-central Montana, local health officials are still urging people to take precautions like wearing masks, regularly washing hands and surfaces and avoiding large crowds to keep the numbers down. These warnings come as parts of the United States are again seeing a rise in the number of new cases.

Blaine County Health Department reported Monday evening being notified of no new cases for the weekend and through Monday, 752 total, none active, 24 deaths.

Hill County Health Department reported Monday evening being notified of no new cases, 1,931 total, 2 active, 42 deaths.

Rocky Boy Health Center reported March 11, also reported on either Chouteau or Hill County numbers, 794 total, none active, no active hospitalizations, total deaths not listed. The center has said it will not post data if no numbers change.

Fort Belknap, reported Monday evening, also reported on either Blaine or Phillips County numbers, no new cases, 429 total, none active, no active hospitalizations, 12 deaths.

Phillips County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 517 total, 4 active, 16 deaths.

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 117 total, none active, 1 death.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 494 total, none active, 5 deaths.
