Havre Police Department

A caller from a caller at 10:27 a.m. Thursday reported a scam, type not listed. Another caller at 6:54 p.m. reported a Social Security scam.

A caller from First Street at 1:41 p.m. Thursday reported finding a purple Huffy bicycle in their yard.

After officers responded to a complaint from Third Street at 3:41 p.m. about neighbors yelling, the incident was resolved peacefully.

--

Officers responding to a complaint at 1:55 a.m. this morning that a youth would not come home issued a summons to a 17-year-old, sex not listed, on a charge of juvenile curfew violations.

Officers responding to a complaint at 5 a.m. this morning that someone was trying to get into the caller's house issued a summons, details not listed in the call log.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies served a warrant at the Hill County Detention Center at 4:39 p.m. Thursday.

A call from Rocky Boy Agency at 5:31 p.m. reporting a Social Security scam was referred to another agency.

Deputies investigated a report made at 11:45 p.m. Thursday from a west Havre business of theft, forgery or fraud.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical services responded to seven calls Thursday and one this morning.

Havre firefighters responded to an alarm at 7:21 p.m ,. on the 300 Block of 13th Street West. The alarm turned out to be false with no fire.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held one cat and one 8-week-old kitten, all of unknown gender, along with seven male cats and six female cats.

The shelter also held two female 7-month-old mixed-breed puppies, a male and two female 10-week-old border collie-corgi cross puppies, a female and two male 11-week-old mixed breed puppies and a male mixed-breed dog. Two male mixed-breed 12-week-old puppies were being housed separately.
