Havre Police Department

A remote alcohol monitoring device violation was reported at the police station Wednesday at 10:04 a.m.

Caleb Logan Denny of Box Elder, 23, was arrested on a charge of trespass to vehicles after a caller at a First Street business reported Wednesday at 10:18 a.m. that someone tried to get into a customer's vehicle and drive away.

A 12-year-old was arrested on an assault charge after a caller at Havre Middle School reported a fight Wednesday at 3:33 p.m.

--

A caller at a First Street West business reported at 2:35 a.m. today that a maroon Dodge Ram 1500 was stolen.

Brayden Stadel of Havre, 18, was issued a summons on charges of careless driving, failure to stop and identify self after striking an unattended vehicle, failure to give notice of crash and minor in possession after a caller on Fourth Avenue reported at 2:49 a.m. today that a black pickup truck had run into a Ford Focus and a Saturn.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Two callers reported Wednesday at 8:11 a.m. that a train was blocking the railroad crossing.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to six calls Wednesday and three early this morning.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held one cat and two 8-week-old kittens all of unknown gender, along with seven male cats and six female cats.

The shelter also held two female 7-month-old mixed-breed puppies, a male and two female 10-week-old border collie-corgi cross puppies, a female and two male 11-week-old mixed breed puppies and a male mixed-breed dog. Two male mixed-breed 12-week-old puppies were being housed separately.
