Middle School tennis is back

Havre head tennis coach George Ferguson is offering middle school tennis lessons free of charge. The sessions will be Monday's from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Bill Vaughey Memorial Tennis Courts. Boys and girls grades 6-8 are eligible to attend and can sign up by calling Ferguson at 390-4142. The middle school tennis lessons will begin April 11.

Men's League Meeting Set at Prairie

There will be a men's golf league meeting at Prairie Farms Golf Course March 30. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in the Prairie Farms Pro Shop, and a representative of each team should attend.

Northern runners shine

Three Montana State University-Northern cross country runners competed in the NAIA Half Marathon last weekend in Billings. The Northern runners were competing unattached. Field  Soosloff placed second with a time of 1:11:03. Liam Baez-Terry placed ninth in the men's race with a time of 1:20:38. Grace Schwenk placed fifth in the Women' s race with a time of 1:39:02.

Havre's Wagner named All-American

Former Blue Pony great Dani Wagner, a senior at Carroll College has been named a WBCA NAIA Coaches All-American. Wagner, who led Carroll to the Frontier Conference championship, was one of 10 players selected to the All-American Team and was the only player from the Frontier to make the list.
