The 2021 Hi-Line basketball season is in the books and what a year it was for District 9C. Fort Benton was incredible, North Star's girls won a championship, and there was so much to celebrate.
That includes the postseason awards as the league's All-Conference and All-State selections were announced Tuesday.
Eight 9C players earned Class C All-State honors for this past season, including Fort Benton's Hayden Diekhans, Devin Bird and Jace Thompson. Chinook's Ethan Bell, Reese Elliot and Toby Niederegger were also selected, as was Turner's Shane Kimmel and Box Elder's Tyrus LaMere.
The 9C also had eight girls named Class C All-State, including Aspen Giese, Ashlee Wang and Maci Molinario from state champion Fort Benton. Box Elder's Kyla Momberg and Angela Gopher were also selected, as was Turner's Shyan Krass. North Star's Jade Wendland and Laynie Sattoriva were also named to the All-State Team.
