Harlem cagers honored

Three Harlem boys and two Wildcat girls have been honored for their outstanding play in the 2021 basketball season.

The District 2B honors were announced earlier this week. On the boys side, Harlem junior R.J. Ramone was named First-Team All-Conference, as well as Class B All-State. Junior Tyler Cichosz was also named First-Team All-Conference, while Daniel Lawrence, a junior, was named Second Team.

Harlem junior Taya Trottier was named Class B All-State for the girls, as well as District 2B First-Team All-Conference. Harlem's Alyanee Hawley also earned Second-Team All-Conference honors for the Wildcats.

Both the Harlem boys and girls advanced to the Northern B Divisional this season, with the boys finishing third.

Second team: Zander Ackerman, Sr., Wolf Point; Trevor Klind, Sr., Glasgow; Wilfred Lambert, Sr., Poplar; Daniel Lawrence, Jr., Harlem; Pierce Mortenson, Sr., Malta; Connor Tuss, Jr., Malta.

2B Girls

All-state: Allison Kunze, So., Malta; Taya Trottier, Jr., Harlem; Maddie Williamson, So., Malta.

All-conference
