Havre Police Department

A caller on Lincoln Avenue reported Tuesday at 7:35 a.m. finding a nice bicycle behind a garbage bin.

Kipp Josiah Henry of Great Falls, 35, was arrested on charges of theft, possession of drug paraphernalia paraphernalia and trespass to vehicles and Colen James Gibson of Havre, 42, was arrested but no charges were provided in the dispatch log, however, the jail roster listed him being held charges of theft and trespass to vehicles. The arrest came after a caller on 11th Avenue reported that a man who stole "stuff just threw it out the door."

Ty J. Bauer of Havre, 27, was arrested on a state District Court warrant and on a charge of resisting arrest when officers provided assistance at drug court Tuesday at 11:29 a.m.

Officers were called to provide assistance on 15th Street West at 12:36 p.m. Tuesday and two arrests were made during a 12:41 p.m. vehicle stop on Lincoln Avenue. No details on charges were provided in the dispatch log, but Jeremiah Leookamauna Hughes and Tysen James Sangrey, who were both named in the log as involved parties were listed in this morning's jail roster, each being held on charges of possession of dangerous drugs, conspiracy and forfeiture.

A First Street Northeast caller reported Tuesday at 2:40 p.m. that a card had been taken and money was missing.

Autumn Dawn Wright of Havre, 38, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license, driving without vehicle insurance and expired vehicle registration and on a Justice or City court warrant and a state District Court warrant after officers served a warrant on First Street at 7:50 p.m. Tuesday.

Officers were called to investigate a non-injury vehicle crash on Fifth Avenue Tuesday at 8:30 p.m.

Cecelia Nadine Denny of Box Elder, 23, was arrested when officers served a warrant on 13th Street at 4:47 a.m. today. No charge was listed on the dispatch log, but the jail roster says Denny is charged with failure to appear in court.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies were called Tuesday at 5:20 p.m. to assist with a pursuit in the Havre area.

James Murel Goldsmith Jr. of Harlem, 27, was arrested on a charge of trespass to property and on a Justice or City court warrant, and Nicole Rose Big Leggins of Havre, 36, was arrested on a charge of trespass to property, after a complaint was called in from a 34th Street Southeast business Tuesday at 5:50 p.m.

Deputies were called to U.S. Highway 2 East to assist another agency Tuesday at 9:57 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Tuesday, including one with the fire call, and two calls early this morning.

Six firefighters and an ambulance crew responded Tuesday at 9:59 p.m. to a kitchen fire in a mobile home on the 3400 Block of U.S. Highway 2 East. Havre Assistant Fire Chief Nathan Courtnage said the residents were able to knock the fire back with a fire extinguisher, and the fire crew put out hot spots in the ceiling. He added that no one was injured in the incident, but the fire damage to the structure included the ceiling, cabinets and a microwave. Smoke damage had not been assessed by the time of the call, he said, adding that NorthWestern Energy also responded to the fire, as they do, to assist with power supply and lines if needed.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held four cats, two 7-week-old kittens and a 26-week-old kitten all of unknown gender, five male cats and five female cats.

The shelter also held a female 9-month-old Labrador retriever puppy, a female 6-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a female and two male 10-week-old mixed breed puppies, a male mixed-breed dog, a female 7-month-old mixed-breed dog, a male 8-month-old shepherd puppy and a female Akita dog. Two male mixed-breed 10-week-old puppies were being housed separately.
