Matthew Michael Converse of Rocky Boy was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant Sunday at 8:35 p.m. on First Street West.

Officers investigated after a Lincoln Avenue caller reported a a man losing blood was being driven to the emergency room by another man who was intoxicated.

Meagan Lashae Ball of Havre, 28, was issued a summons on a charge of partner of family member assault after a caller at a First Street business reported at 2:23 a.m. today that a woman was there saying she had been assaulted.

A Third Avenue caller reported today at 5:41 a.m. that a man had stolen items from a vehicle.
Hill County Sheriff's Office
Deputies investigated an assault reported Friday at 1:21 p.m. on U.S. Highway 2 East.

Charlye Jillian Garcia of Hingham, 31, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants Saturday at 12:07 a.m.

Deputies working with Havre Police officers investigated an animal control incident reported Saturday at 3:35 p.m. at the ER.

Havre Fire Department
Emergency medical personnel responded to six calls Friday, two of them in conjunction with a fire call; four calls Saturday, two of them in conjunction with one fire call; and one call early this morning.

Firefighters responded to a 9:50 a.m. Friday smoke alarm on the 1200 Block of Grant Avenue, but could find no fire.
--
Firefighters were called Friday at 9:53 p.m. to a report of a gas leak at a multi-family dwelling on the 200 Block of Seventh avenue, but no gas was detected.

A smoke odor was reported on the 100 Block of 34th Avenue West Saturday at 7:51 a.m., but the fire crew only detected a smoke smell coming from something on a burner in the kitchen.

Firefighters responded to a 12:48 p.m. report of smoke at a multifamily dwelling on the 1200 Block of 10th Street West, but found that the smoke was coming from a location outside the building.
Havre Animal Shelter
The shelter this morning held four cats, two 7-week-old kittens and a 26-week-old kitten all of unknown gender, five male cats and five female cats.

The shelter also held a female 9-month-old Labrador retriever puppy, a female 6-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a female and two male 10-week-old mixed breed puppies, a male 8-month-old shepherd puppy and a female Akita dog. Another three puppies, all mixed-breed 10-week-old males, were being housed separately.
