State and local COVID-19 update, March 8, 2021

The total number of cases of COVID-19 in Montana on the state map after today’s update was 100,959 with 46 new cases, 1,603 active. The number of active hospitalizations was 63. The number of deaths was 1,381.

Blaine County reported on the state update this morning had no new cases, 706 total, 5 active, 24 deaths.

Hill County reported on the state update this morning had no new cases with 1,933 total and 25 active. The health department reported Saturday 3 active hospitalizations and 40 deaths.

Phillips County reported on the state update this morning had no new cases with 504 total and 8 active. The county health department reported Friday 3 active hospitalizations, 15 deaths.

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 116 total, none active, 1 death.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 490 total, 2 active, 5 deaths.
