Leann Ahenakew Gardipee of Havre, 44, was issued a summons on a shoplifting charge, after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 Northwest business reported Friday at 10:38 a.m. that a woman had stolen an item.

A 14-year-old was issued a summons on a juvenile curfew violation charge after a caller on Fifth Street asked officers Friday at 11:11 a.m. to check on a juvenile at girl at a residence.

Chan Bigknife of Box Elder, 48, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after a caller with Montana Department of Transportation and other callers asked officers Friday at 11:29 a.m. to check on a man who was stumbling and calling on the sidewalk on First Street West.

Colt Ryan Billy of Box Elder, 35, was issued a summons on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license, careless driving, obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and driving without vehicle insurance after officers stopped Friday at 3:52 p.m. to investigate a vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 2 West.

Jeremiah Francis Berger of Havre, 50, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and Kaleb Emanuel Freyholtz of Hingham, 30, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants and on charges of habitual traffic offender, driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license, obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance during a vehicle stop on 11th Avenue Saturday at 2:55 p.m.

Louis Joseph Morsette of Box Elder, 41, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported a noise complaint Sunday at 1:30 a.m.

Travis Dillon Granger of Havre, 32, was arrested on a charge of violation of a no contact order after a caller in the Third Street alley asked officers Sunday at 9:35 a.m. for assistance getting a phone back.

Millo Montgomery Moore of Havre, 28, was issued a summons on a charge of partner or family member assault after a caller reported Sunday at 7:06 p.m. that a family member called to ask him to call for law enforcement assistance on Lincoln Avenue. Havre police later reported that the charges against Moore were being rescinded and charges of making false reports to law enforcement were being filed against Joey Ray Azure.

A 14-year-old was issued a summons on charges of partner or family member assault and minor in possession after a Third Street caller reported a disturbance Sunday at 10:14 p.m.

Aaron Carl Lamere of Box Elder, 39, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after he turned himself in at the police station at 12:53 a.m. this morning.

An arrest was made after a caller on 17th Street West reported at 2:59 a.m. today that an intoxicated man had tried to kick a door in but details were not available. Tanner Joseph Walker, who was named in the dispatch log as a involved party, was listed in this morning's jail roster as being held on charges of disorderly conduct and criminal mischief vandalism.

A caller on Montana Secondary Highway 234 reported a past sexual assault Friday at 10:09 p.m.

Jason Oliver Morehouse of Havre, 49, was arrested on a charge of partner or family member assault Saturday at 4:46 p.m. on Sixth Street North.

A caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported lost or found property Saturday at 6:58 a.m.

Luis Eduardo Esparza-Macias of Box Elder, 28, was arrested on charges of partner or family member assault and assault after a caller from Rocky Boy Police Department asked Sunday at 1:41 a.m. for assistance in Box Elder.

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Friday, four Saturday, three Sunday and one early this morning.

Firefighters responded to a call on the 10 Block of 10th Street Sunday at 8:55 p.m.
Havre Animal Shelter
The shelter this morning held two 5-week-old kittens of unknown gender, five male cats, one female and one male 26-week-old kittens, and three female cats.

The shelter also held a female 6-month-old mixed-breed puppy, two male 10-week-old mixed breed puppies, a female and two male 8-week-old mixed breed puppies, two male mixed-breed dogs, a female 13-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a female 12-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a male 11-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a female 26-week-old German shepherd puppy, and a male 8-month-old shepherd puppy. Another three puppies, all mixed-breed 8-week-old males, were being housed separately.

A girl was born Saturday, Feb. 27, 2021, to Maranda Blackcrow and Trevor Boushie of Harlem.
