College News - Dolph inducted into Tau Beta Pi

John W. Dolph of Havre was inducted into Tau Beta Pi, the engineering honor society, at Montana State University in Bozeman April 8, 2020, during his junior year.

Now a senior in the Honors College majoring in computer science, Dolph is the son of Sharon and James Dolph of Havre. He is a 2017 graduate of Havre High School.

While at MSU Bozeman, Dolph has worked as a full-stack web developer at the Allen Yarnell Center for Student Success and as an academic technology assistant at the Office of Disability Services. He has earned President and Dean’s list recognitions during his time at the university.

Founded at Lehigh University in 1885, Tau Beta Pi is the nation’s largest engineering society and represents the highest honor to be obtained by an engineering student.

Membership is awarded on the basis of high scholarship and exemplary character.
