Havre Police Department

Officers investigated a vehicle crash at 18th Street and Beaver Creek Boulevard reported at 7:47 a.m. Wednesday.

Jerome Lane Bigknife of Rocky Boy, 28, was arrested on three Justice or City court warrants after an officer assisting another agency stopped to speak with a man on 11th Street West Wednesday at 9:06 a.m.

Someone stopped at the police station Wednesday at 9:22 a.m. to report a sexual or violent offender registry violation.

Three arrests were made in conjunction with an investigation by Hill County Sheriff's deputies in response to a 10:35 a.m. Wednesday call from 17th Avenue West about a woman having taken the caller's wallet. No details on the Havre police arrests were provided.

Stacy Steinmetz Lanier of Havre, 47, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant, after a 12:46 p.m. Wednesday caller told officers about receiving message from a family member about needing the police to remove a man from a Seventh Street location.

Skyler John Melby of Kremlin, 30, was issued a summons on a theft charge after a caller at a First Street West business reported Wednesday at 1:34 p.m. that someone had taken an item and tried to pawn it.

Clayton Blade White or Havre, 25, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served Wednesday at 3:33 p.m. in Havre.

A Fifth Avenue caller reported a hit and run crash Wednesday at 4:56 p.m.

Jose Albertoaguado Olin of Havre, 28, was arrested on a charge of partner or family member assault after a caller reported at 1:17 a.m. today that a man had slapped a pregnant woman.

Officers were called at 4:30 a.m. today for assistance at a First Street West business.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Jimmy Ray Stiffarm of Malta, 40, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and a charge of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant; Jamie Lauren Seymour of Chinook, 19, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and a charge of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant; Sashay Joe Standing Rock of Havre, 22, was arrested on a charge of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant; Lorraine Henderson of Box Elder, 19, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and two charges of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, and Leon Jennings Cochran of Havre, 29, was arrested on a charge of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant after deputies responded with Havre police to a 10:35 a.m. Wednesday report that a woman who had stolen a wallet and was now with the caller at a residence on 17th Avenue West.

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Wednesday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two 4-week-old kittens of unknown gender, five male cats and four female cats.

The shelter also held a female 6-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a male and a female 9-week-old mixed breed puppies, two male mixed-breed dogs, a female 12-week-old mixed breed puppy and a male 7-month-old shepherd puppy. Another three puppies, all mixed-breed 8-week-old males, were being housed separately.
