Havre Police Department

A remote breathalyzer test violation was reported at 11:13 a.m. Wednesday at the police station.

Officers were asked Wednesday at 4:03 p.m. to investigate a vehicle that had been parked all day in the alley off McKinley Avenue.

A 17-year-old boy was arrested on a charge of partner or family member assault after a 10th Avenue caller reported a fight between siblings Wednesday at 4:21 p.m.

Andrew Richard Barret of Havre, 19, was arrested on a charge of partner or family member assault after a Wednesday 10:58 p.m. caller on Sixth Street reported an assault and a caller on 18th Avenue reported at 12:11 a.m. today that they caught someone breaking in through the front door.

A caller on Fifth Street reported Wednesday at 11:50 p.m. that a juvenile had sneaked out of the house.

An arrest was made after officers stopped to help someone in a vehicle crash on Boulevard Avenue at 2:17 a.m. this morning. No details on the charges were provided.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Sheriff's dispatch log reported no arrests, summonses or investigations in the 24-hour reporting period.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to six calls Wednesday, including one accompanying firefighters, and two early this morning.

Firefighters responded to a report of a gas smell on the 800 Block of Second Street. No information was available on whether a leak was found.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two 2-week-old kittens of unknown gender, six male cats and four female cats.

The shelter also held a male Staffordshire bull terrier dog, a female Pit Bull Terrier Border Collie cross dog, a male mixed-breed dog, a female 10-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a male 7-month-old shepherd puppy and a female mixed-breed dog.
