Havre Middle School lists students of the month

Havre Middle School's Sixth-Grade Student of the Month for January is Treasure Squires.

She is the daughter of Tim and Kimberly Nixdorf. She has two siblings, Alexa Squires and Jonah Nixdorf.

At the middle school, Treasure participates in the choir. Outside of school, she is very involved with dance lessons. Treasure has a wide variety of skills and excels in ballet, tap and contemporary dancing. In her spare time, she loves spending time with friends and family.

Treasure is an asset to have in the classroom. She is hardworking and instinctively knows what needs to be done. Treasure has a personality that lights up the school and makes it a great place for everyone.

In the future, Treasure plans to attend college and pursue a degree.

January's Seventh-Grade Student of the Month at HMS is Chloe Corner.

Chloe is the daughter of Jason Petty and Jody Corner. She has four siblings, J.J. Petty, Russell Petty, Christina Corner and Caileigh Hinkle.

At Havre Middle School, Chloe plays the trombone and participates in Jazz Band. She also runs for the cross country team. Outside of school, Chloe is active in traveling soccer, her church's youth group and The Boy and Girl Scouts organizations. In her free time, she likes to hang out with friends, ice-skate and listen to music.

Chloe is always upbeat and exceeds expectations. She is a team player who sparks others to follow in a positive direction. Her tremendous work ethic and dependability set great examples for others to follow. Chloe shows every aspect of HMS's "Code of Character" in everything she does.

Chloe strives to graduate high school and become an officer in the U.S. Navy.

Havre Middle School's Eighth-Grade Student of the Month for January is Emma Bitz.

Emma is the daughter of Wade and Holly Bitz. She has one sister, Ava Bitz.

At school, Emma works hard to maintain a high GPA. Outside of school, she participates in traveling soccer. In her free time, Emma enjoys spending time cooking and reading with her grandparents.

Emma is an extremely polite and kindhearted student at HMS. She exhibits excellent behavior at all times to everyone. Her hard work ethic and diligence to her studies will help her achieve whatever life goals she sets.

Emma aspires to become a doctor and practice medicine in Korea.
