Havre Police Department

Larae Danita Hughes of Havre, 45, was issued a summons on a charge of failure to yield right of way to oncoming traffic at Fifth Avenue and Fourth Street Thursday at 7:57 a.m.

Officers were called at 8 a.m. Thursday to a hit and run vehicle crash in with a Jeep Cherokee on Ninth Street was sideswiped during the night.

Officers assisted Child and Family Services which filed a cross report on an incident Thursday at 11:37 a.m.

A remote alcohol monitoring device violation was reported at the police station at 3:50 p.m. Thursday,

The theft of a client's prescriptions was reported by a caregiver Thursday at 4:06 p.m.

Colen Shane of Box Elder, 23, was arrested on charges of trespass to property and disorderly conduct after a Fourth Street caller asked Thursday at 8:38 p.m. for assistance with an intoxicated man.

Officers investigated a complaint at a First Street establishment called in at 11:34 p.m. Thursday.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Ashley Lynne Smith of Havre, 34, was issued a summons on a shoplifting charge after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported a shoplifter at 5:06 p.m. Thursday.

Sybil Cochran Lonebear of Havre, 42, was arrested on three Justice or City court warrants and on a charge of trespass to property after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported a trespasser Thursday 7:51 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Thursday and one early this morning.

Firefighters responded to a Thursday at 1:05 p.m. request for assistance with an issue involving an elevator shaft on the 200 Block of Second Street.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two 1-week-old kittens of unknown gender, three male cats and four female cats.

The shelter also held a male Staffordshire bull terrier dog, two female mixed-breed dogs, a male mixed-breed dog, a female 10-month-old mixed-breed puppy and a male 7-month-old shepherd puppy.
