Malique Rosette, Box Elder Boys Basketball

The Box Elder Bears were excited to get back on the court this past week, and they won two big 9C games. Malique Rosette was a big help too, as he scored 25 points in the Bears’ win over Turner last Friday, then he added 11 more pints as Box Elder beat North Star Saturday night. Rosette also played football for the Bears this past fall.

Jade Wendland, North Star Girls Basketball

In one of their biggest wins thus far, North Star got a huge lift from star Jade Wendland. Last Saturday, Wendland scored 28 points to help the Knights defeat Box Elder in a close 9C game. Wendland had also scored 14 points in a tough loss to Fort Benton earlier in the week. Wendland, who also plays volleyball and runs track at North Star, is already a two-time All Northern C standout in hoops.
