Havre Police Department

A Washington Avenue caller asked Tuesday 2:22 p.m. to speak with an officer about suspicious activity going on in a family member's home.

Scott Earl Smith of Havre, 40, was issued a summons on a theft charge after a Tuesday 2:52 p.m. caller at a First Street West business reported a theft that happened at 2 p.m.

Marshall Earl Doney of Harlem, 32, was arrested on a charge of partner or family member assault after a caller on Second Street West reported at 4:58 p.m. Tuesday that a man was getting physical with a woman in the road.

A 17-year-old was issued a summons on two charges of partner or family member assault after a caller on Saddle Butte Drive reported that a juvenile was beating siblings Tuesday at 6:23 p.m.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Kaylyn Raychell Oats of Great Falls, 23, was arrested on charges of partner or family member assault and obstructing a peace officer or other public servant after a disturbance in progress between two women was reported Tuesday at 9:55 a.m. in the Laredo area.

Deputies investigated after a Tuesday at 9:55 p.m. caller reported a man hit a woman and daughter.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Tuesday and two early this morning.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held four cats and two 4-day-old kittens of unknown gender, one female 7-month-old kitten, one female cat and one male cat.

The shelter also held a male Staffordshire bull terrier dog, a female mixed-breed dog, a female 10-month-old mixed-breed puppy and a male 6-month-old shepherd puppy.
