Havre Police Department

Officers investigated a Monday 6:26 a.m. report from the area near Fifth Avenue and Bullhook Drive Southeast of a stabbing.

A vehicle crash on Sixth Avenue was reported Monday at 6:45 a.m.

A vehicle crash on Second Street was reported Monday at 4:15 p.m.

--

Elliott Terry Magera of Seattle 26, was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license, no vehicle insurance and speeding during a 9:06 p.m. vehicle stop on First Street Monday.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies assisted Havre Police Department Saturday at 3:22 a.m. on Sixth Avenue.

An arrest was made after a caller reported suspicious activity Sunday at 8:20 a.m. on Second Avenue Northwest in Box Elder. No details on the charges were provided.

Deputies investigated burglary on 11th Street North referred by Havre Police at 2:50 p.m. Sunday.

A caller at U.S. Highway 2 West and Second Street West reported finding a cellphone on the road Sunday at 7:29 p.m.

Christopher Richard Anderson of Great Falls, 37, was arrested on charges of trespass to property and disorderly conduct after a caller asked Sunday at 7:58 p.m. for assistance on Second Street Northwest in Rudyard.

After an investigation of suspicious activity at the county landfill on County Road 451 Monday at 1:10 a.m. and subsequent assists with Havre police on 14th Avenue at 3 a.m. and 3:37 a.m., Shelby Lynn Walker of Harlem, 28, was arrested on charges of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia; Thomas Lawrence Newman of Havre, 31, was arrested on charges of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia and on two Justice or City court warrants; and Raymond Peter NezPerce of Chinook, 60, was arrested on two state district court warrants.

Deputies were called to assist Havre police on 15th Street West at 9:57 p.m. Monday and on Secondary Road 440 South at 11:51 p.m. Monday.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to six calls in the 24-hour reporting period, including one related to a fatal vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 2 East.

Firefighters responded to two calls Monday, one at 12:19 p.m. and the other at 1:44 p.m. related to the crash on U.S. Highway 2 East.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held one cat of unknown gender, two female cats, one male 9-month-old kitten, four male cats and one female 7-month-old kitten.

The shelter also held a Staffordshire bull terrier dog, three female mixed-breed dogs, a female 10-month-old mixed-breed puppy and a male 6-month-old shepherd puppy.
