Albina T. Warp of Glendale AZ, 95, died peacefully at home December 18, 2020, with family by her side.
Albina was born April 14, 1925, in Rolla, ND, to Wilfred and Marie (Ledoux) LaFrance. Growing up, she attended a country school in Maryville Township. November 12, 1942, she married Leo Leonard and they had six children. They farmed north of Rolette, ND, for 23 years. During that time, Albina also worked as a waitress and as a nurse's aide at Rolette Community Hospital.
In 1965, Albina moved to Havre, MT, and worked in various jobs. October 19, 1968, she married Albert Warp and had one child. In 1988, Albina decided to move out of the cold weather and moved to Arizona, where she lived in the Phoenix area until her passing.
Albina was an excellent seamstress, she loved to crochet and do all kinds of craft projects, which she shared with her family and friends. She also enjoyed gardening, camping, fishing, hunting, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. Most of all she enjoyed life.
Albina was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Warp; her sons Donald and Thomas Leonard; her brothers, Eugene and Art LaFrance; sisters, Emelda Schenck, Laura Armstrong, Rose Christensen, Jeanette Avery and Evelyn Johnston.
She is survived by her son Terry Leonard; daughters, Darlene Howard, Laurel Jasinski, Kari (Dwayne) Patterson and Kathy (Mike) Sardinha; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
