Deputies were called Friday at 1:42 p.m. to provide assistance to a Gildford caller.

Autumn Dawn Wright of Havre, 38, was arrested on a theft charge and two Justice or City court warrants after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported a theft, Friday at 7:41 p.m.

Deputies investigated a Saturday 10:44 a.m. complaint on U.S. Highway 87 near the state weight scales.

An auto theft was reported at 11:18 a.m. Saturday at a U.S. Highway 2 West business.

Havre Fire Department
Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Saturday, two Sunday and one early this morning.

Firefighters responded to two good intent calls Friday. At 3:15 p.m., a caller on the 600 Block of Second Avenue, when their lights flickered and they heard an explosion, but firefighters could find no problem. And at 4:30 p.m., a caller reported possible smoke on the 1600 Block of 16th Street, but it was fog.

Firefighters responded in a 2:19 p.m. Sunday mutual aid call to a structure fire on the 8000 Block of Bullhook Road and stayed until the fire was under control.

Bear Paw Volunteer Fire Department Bear Paw VFD firefighters responded to a call about a shop fire on the 8000 Block of Bullhook Road just after 2 p.m. Sunday. Bear Paw Fire Chief Josh Bebee said a shop fire caused a total loss of the structure and its contents that included two vehicles, a tractor and a loader, but the fire was contained to the structure. Bebee said this morning that the fire started while the shop was unoccupied and the cause was still under investigation. Fire crews from Wildhorse and Kremlim rural fire departments, along with Havre Fire Department, responded to the fire call.
Havre Animal Shelter
The shelter this morning held one cat of unknown gender, one female cat, two female 7-month-old kittens, one male 8-month-old kitten, three male cats and one six-month-old female kitten.

The shelter also held a female mixed-breed dog, a male 26-week old mixed-breed puppy, a male 8-month-old shepherd puppy, a female 9-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a female shepherd dog and a male 6-month-old shepherd puppy.
