Indoor archery league starting this month

North 40 Outfitters in Havre is hosting an indoor archery league Thursday, Jan. 10, through March 31. 

The store will allow up to 10 league teams that will consist of four members each. The shoot format is Vegas 3 Spot with 30 arrows per session. The fee is $80 per person and includes a six-month range card for the North 40 Outfitters archery range. 

“We actually have an indoor archery section here that you can come in and shoot, so it will be in that section,” North 40 Outfitters Associate Rick Linie said.

Linie said the range is available all the time to shoot during regular store hours for participants and non-participants. It is located in the sporting goods section of the store. 

Scores for the league will be recorded by archery staff and entered under the team name. 

“The top three teams at the end of the league season will get the prizes,” Linie said.

The prizes had not been disclosed as of printing time today.

Masks and social distancing will be required during league play due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
