Havre Police Department

Tuesday at 3:47 p.m., officers were called to investigate a vehicle crash in which a green Ford F150 was reported to have run into a mailbox on 16th Street West and may have then hit a house down the street.

A caller on Second Street reported Tuesday at 6:33 p.m. that the back window of a vehicle was shattered.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A caller on Airport Drive reported a case of identity theft Tuesday at 2:53 p.m.

William James Denny of Havre, 35, was arrested on two stated district court warrants served at Hill County Detention Center Tuesday at 5:39 p.m.

Ryan Andrew Brandt of Havre, 28, was arrested on a partner or family member assault charge after a caller on 77th Avenue West asked deputies at 12:57 a.m. today for assistance.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Tuesday and two early this morning.

Firefighters responded to a fire alarm Tuesday at 9:46 p.m. on the 800 Block of Fourth Street. No fire was detected and the alarms were reset.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held one cat of unknown gender, three female cats, one male and four female 6-month-old kittens, five male cats and one male 8-month-old kitten.

The shelter also held a male Staffordshire bull terrier dog, a female 7-month-old Labrador retriever-border collie puppy, a male 8-month-old German shepherd puppy, two male 7-month-old shepherd puppies, a male 6-week-old Rottweiler-border collie puppy, a male Australian cattle dog-blue heeler cross dog, a female 9-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a female shepherd dog, a female Chihuahua dog and a male 26-week-old shepherd puppy.
