Havre Police Department

A 12th Avenue caller reported Friday at 12:24 p.m. that their mail had been tampered with.

A caller asked Friday at 3:56 p.m. for assistance after a bike that was stolen during the summer was found at a business on Montana Avenue.

--

Officers were asked Friday at 4:17 p.m. to speak with the Second Street caller's grandchild who had been assaulted.

--

Someone stopped at the police station Friday at 8:46 p.m. to speak with officers about threats and the theft of a phone.

Jerry Neal Flatlip of Box Elder, 58, was arrested on a charge of trespass to property after a caller at a First Street business reported Friday at 10:59 p.m. that an intoxicated man was asking people for a ride.

Jason Maurice Bell of Havre, 27, was arrested on charges of strangulation of a partner or family member and partner or family member assault after a caller on Fourth Street reported at 11:57 p.m. Friday that a woman was attacked by a man.

Lance Kyle Timblin of Havre, 32, was arrested on a trespass to property charge after a 13th Street West caller reported a man had been in the backyard and was headed toward Cleveland and Boulevard avenues Saturday at 3:31 a.m.

A 14-year-old Havre girl was issued a summons on charges of minor in possession, juvenile curfew violations, resisting arrest and assault on a peace officer or judicial officer with minor or no injuries and a 15-year-old Rocky Boy girl was issued a summons on charges of MIP and juvenile curfew violations after a caller headed westbound on cemetery hill asked Saturday at 4:45 a.m. for assistance with a juvenile.

Saturday at 9:47 a.m., a caller on 7th Street asked to speak with an officer about a co-worker.

Fake money was reported at a First Street West business Saturday at 2:59 p.m.

Richard James Olin-Berger of Havre, 19, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after a caller at a First Street West business reported Sunday at 9:11 a.m. that an older model Ford pickup truck had been parked for quite a while with someone seemingly passed out in the driver's seat.

Timothy James Harmon of Havre, 43, was arrested on a pick up and hold order after an officer investigated a vehicle near Patterson Park at 2:23 a.m. today.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Tanner Joseph Walker of Havre, 38, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served Friday at 10:57 a.m. at Hill County Detention Center, and a second arrest was made, but no details were provided on the charges.

Deputies investigated a domestic disturbance reported Friday at 2:47 p.m. in the parking lot at the Box Elder post office.

A vehicle theft was reported Sunday at 9:48 a.m. at a Box Elder establishment.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to four calls Saturday and two Sunday.

Firefighters responded to a 12:28 p.m. report Sunday of possible smoke coming from a residence on the 900 Block of Sixth Avenue. What looked like smoke was heavy moisture-exhaust billowing from the home's furnace vent.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held five 26-week-old kittens and one cat of unknown gender, two female cats, five male cats, one female 10-month-old kitten and one female 23-week-old kitten.

The shelter also held a 5-week-old German shepherd puppy, a female mixed breed dog, a male Australian cattle dog-blue heeler cross dog, a male 7-month-old shepherd puppy, a female 9-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a female Chihuahua dog and a male 23-week-old shepherd puppy.
