Dear Havre, public schools administration, teachers, staff, parents and students
Happy holiday’s from the Havre Public Schools Education Foundation!
We know 2020 has been a challenging year and we hope that your holiday season bring comfort and joy during the last month of this year.
The Board of Directors of the Havre Public Schools Education foundation is writing today to express our strong support for the administration and Board of Trustees of Havre Public Schools for the decisions they have made in regards to in-class instruction for Havre public schools students during the COVID-19 pandemic.
There are two main reasons our board strongly supports the decisions of the Board of Trustees and Administration in this matter.
1. The administration is relentlessly looking at the data and the science related to COVID-19 on a local, state and national level as they are developing their recommendations to the Board of Trustees.
2. These recommendations that the administration of Havre Public Schools is making to the Board of Trustees is to protect all of the students, faculty, staff and administration the best they can during this pandemic.
The Havre Public Schools Education Foundation Board applauds the Havre Public Schools Board of Trustees for considering all the science and data and the recommendations of Interim Superintendent Mueller when making decisions related to the students of our district regarding COVID-19. The Havre Public Schools Board of Trustees volunteer their time to serve our community. The Havre Public Schools Education Foundation thanks our trustees for their tireless service to the Havre Public School District.
Working together, our Board of Trustees, administration, teachers and staff ensure that Havre Public Schools is the premiere school district in the state of Montana.
