Havre Police Department

Codie Darwin Nalder of Havre, 26, was issued a summons on charges of theft of lost or mislaid property and deceptive practices for financial gain; Kevin Dean Trumble of Havre, 51, was issued a summons on a charge of theft of lost or mislaid property; and Dixie Lynn Hernandez of Havre, 49, was issued a summons on a charge of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license, all after a caller at an 11th Street West business reported Thursday at 7:23 a.m. that a wallet had been dropped and purchases charged around town.

A complaint was made Thursday at 12:03 p.m. at Havre Middle School.

A hit and run crash was reported at a First Street West establishment Friday at 12:38 p.m.

A crash involving a semi-tractor trailer and a Chevrolet Malibu was reported at a First Street West business at 2:04 p.m. Thursday.

Officers made 16 vehicle stops Thursday and investigated two incidents of suspicious activity involving parked vehicles early this morning.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

John Melvin Birdtail of Havre, 28, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served Thursday at 3:59 p.m. at Hill County Courthouse.

Deputies investigated a juvenile status offense reported Thursday at 11:36 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Thursday and three calls early this morning.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two female cats, five male cats, one female and three male 9-month-old kittens and two female 22-week-old kittens.

The shelter also held a female mixed breed dog, a male Australian cattle dog-blue heeler cross dog, a male 6-month-old shepherd puppy, a female 8-month-old mixed-breed puppy and a male 22-week-old shepherd puppy.

A girl was born Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2020, to Katy Wilson and Tyson Anderson of Havre.
