The name of a man killed Saturday in a two-vehicle crash east of Kremlin has been released.
Jaden Peet of Kremlin, 20, was the man killed in the crash, Hill County Sheriff and Coroner Jamie Ross said.
Montana Highway Patrol’s report said the 2009 GMC Sierra driven by the deceased was traveling westbound on Highway 2 when it crossed the center line into the eastbound lane.
The driver of a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado traveling eastbound in that lane attempted to avoid collision by pulling to the right, but was unable to do so, Highway Patrol reports.
The report says the vehicles had a head-on collision.
Peet, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Silverado was taken to Northern Montana Hospital.
