Havre Police Department

Andrea Neicole Smith of Rudyard, 29, was issued a summons on a shoplifting charge after a caller at a First Street West business asked Wednesday at 9:23 a.m. to speak with an officer about stolen items.

Two people were arrested after officers investigated suspicious activity behind a Havre business at 1:11 a.m. today. No details on the arrests were provided.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A caller reported Tuesday at 2:33 p.m. that five pickup trucks were stuck on the road to Beaver Creek Reservoir and deputies provided assistance.

At 6:31 a.m. today, a caller reported a vehicle crash on Beaver Creek Road at mile marker 23, and at 6:40 a.m. the sheriff's office requested an ambulance to that location for two men possibly passed out in a black Honda Civic.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Wednesday and one this morning.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held six 9-month-old kittens and six cats all of unknown gender, two female 19-week-old kittens and two male cats.

The shelter also held two male mixed-breed dogs, a male 10-month-old mixed-breed puppy, two female mixed breed dogs, a male Akita dog, a male 9-month-old shepherd puppy, a male 6-month-old shepherd puppy, a female 8-month-old mixed-breed puppy and a male 19-week-old shepherd puppy.
