The state COVID-19 response map had not been updated by printing deadline this morning, and the latest numbers from Chouteau and Liberty counties were not listed, but Chotueua County Health Department issued a warning to county residents updated Monday morning.
The department issued a Facebook post telling county residents that they have neighbors who have been determined to be close contacts to a positive case of COVID-19 who are refusing to quarantine thereby putting the community at increased risk of infection.
“Of note, these are likely people who also refuse to wear a mask in public,” the post said.
The Hill County Health Department Monday evening reported another COVID-19-related death, bringing the total in Hill County to 26 deaths. The department reported 19 more confirmed cases of COVID-19, for a total in the county of 1,037 with 228 active cases and 24 active hospitalizations.
Blaine County reported five more confirmed COVID-19 cases in the county for a total of 430 cases, 137 active with 12 active hospitalizations. The county has confirmed a total of 13 COVID-19-related deaths.
Sweet Home long-term care center in Chinook, the numbers from which are included in the Blaine County numbers, reported it has 21 residents and 15 staff members confirmed with COVID-19 and has had four COVID-19-related deaths.
Rocky Boy Health Center, the numbers from which also are included in either Chouteau or Hill county’s numbers, reported three new confirmed COVID-19 cases Monday, with 167 active cases on the reservation and two hospitalizations.
