Havre Police Department

A bike was reported found on Fifth Street at 10:43 a.m. Friday.

Daniel Edward Smith of Havre, 35, was issued a summons on a charge of theft after someone stopped at the police station Friday at at 11:12 a.m. to report a theft.

Ariel Micheala Sunchild of Box Elder, 29, was arrested on charges of trespass to property, obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and resisting arrest after a caller on 9th Avenue Northwest asked Friday at 4:07 p.m. for assistance removing a woman from a residence.

Scott Joseph Savage of Havre, 54, was arrested on a charge of assault after a caller someone stopped at the police station Saturday at 12:08 p.m. to report that a man was assaulted at a Second Street facility.

A caller at a First Street business reported a theft Saturday at 2:26 p.m., and a second caller asked to speak with an officer about missing inventory at 3:15 p.m.

Saturday at 8:46 p.m., a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 Northwest business reported a stolen Samsung cellphone with a gold case.

Michael Jay Stump of Havre, 46, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and parking violation during a vehicle stop at Second Street and Sixth Avenue Sunday at 12:26 a.m.

An arrest was made after a caller reported Sunday at 9:24 a.m. seeing a vehicle hit the caller's parked vehicle, and officers were called at 11:20 a.m. to assist with a vehicle stuck in the middle of the street on 15th Avenue. No details on the charges were provided.

An arrest was made after a caller asked at 1:27 p.m. Sunday for a well-being check on a family member on Second Street Northeast and asking at 5:44 p.m. to have the man involved in the incident removed from the residence. No details on the charges were provided.

A Sunday 2:35 p.m. call about a manhole cover missing in the center of the street at the Rich Street alley and Old Post Road was referred to a service agency.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A car theft was reported at a business on U.S. Highway 2 West Friday at 2:43 p.m.

Alana Ruth Demontiney of Havre, 32, was issued a summons on a shoplifting charge after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported a theft, Saturday at 1:40 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to six calls Friday, two Saturday, five Sunday and one early this morning.

Firefighters were called Sunday at 2:20 a.m. to the 1200 Block of 10th Avenue for a carbon monoxide alarm, that turned out to be an alarm malfunction.

Firefighters were called to the 1300 Block of Jefferson Avenue at 3:10 a.m. Sunday and 2:06 a.m. today due to a malfunctioning smoke alarm.

Firefighters responded to a report of a possible downed power line on the 500 Block of Fourth Street at 1:54 p.m. Sunday, but the line was a TV cable and the company was notified of the problem.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held six 9-month-old kittens and seven cats all of unknown gender, two female 18-week-old kittens and two male cats.

The shelter also held two male mixed-breed dogs, a male 10-month-old mixed-breed puppy, two female mixed breed dogs, a male Akita dog, a male 9-month-old shepherd puppy, a male 26-week-old shepherd puppy, a female 7-month-old mixed-breed puppy and a male 18-week-old shepherd puppy.
