Northwest Farm Credit Services donates $4,800 to Bear Paw Ski Bowl

The Havre branch of Northwest Farm Credit Services announced it has donated $4,800, as part of the 100 percent Committed program, to the Snow Dance Ski Association, a non-profit volunteer organization that operates and maintains Bear Paw Ski Bowl. 

“Snow Dance Ski Association is responsible for all necessary maintenance on Bear Paw Ski Bowl’s lift, buildings and ski runs, as well as operation during ski season. This is all done by volunteers, donated labor, equipment and tools,” said Claire Stoner, Snow Dance Ski Association member. “With the support from local businesses like Northwest FCS, Snow Dance Ski Association is able to offer an affordable, family-friendly recreation to rural North-Central Montana.

“Northwest FCS’ donation will help defray costs of a professional-certified inspection and maintenance to the chairlift,” Stoner added.
