Havre Police Department

Tyrel Henry Bear of Havre, 34, was issued a summons on charges of shoplifting and violation of conditions of release after a caller at an 11th Street West business reported a theft Friday at 8:24 a.m.

Officers investigated vandalism Friday at 5:48 p.m.

Veresalabogis Waqaituinayau of Havre, 23, was arrested on charges of criminal mischief vandalism and disorderly conduct after a caller at a Montana State University-Northern residence hall reported a fight in the hallway Saturday at 12:22 a.m.

Someone stopped at the police station at 8 a.m. Saturday to speak with officers about a parenting plan.

--

A Wilson Avenue asked Saturday at 9:14 a.m. to speak with an officer about a bike being stolen.

--

Two separate thefts after 10 p.m. Friday of beer stolen were reported by a caller at a First Street West business Saturday at 9:26 a.m.

--

A window that had been broken out of a van during the night was reported Saturday at 10:07 p.m.

Marlayna Shanelle Snow of Havre, 29, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license, habitual traffic offender and open alcohol container after a caller at a First Street West business reported an intoxicated woman Saturday at 9:52 p.m.

Officers assisted another agency at Pepin Park Saturday at 10:03 p.m.

A summons was issued after multiple callers at Third Street and 14th Avenue reported a fight Saturday at 11:59 p.m. No details on charges were provided.

Multiple callers on 13th Street West reported hearing gunshots Sunday at 1:07 a.m., but police were unable to find a source of the sound.

A business caller on First Street asked Sunday at 8:49 a.m. for assistance locating a missing employee.

--

A caller at Hill County Health Department reported that a vehicle had backed into a pillar on the building at 4:12 p.m. Sunday.

Chaska Nakota Earthboy of Harlem, 32, was arrested on charges of criminal endangerment, DUI, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, failing to drive to the right of the roadway and expired vehicle registration during a 10:46 p.m. Sunday vehicle stop on First Street that was prompted by a 10:42 p.m. driving complaint from someone on U.S. Highway 2.

Jeron Joseph Sinclair or Havre, 19, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and minor in possession after a caller on Second Street asked for assistance at 2 a.m. today having a family member removed.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Tasha Elaine Daniels of Havre, 36, was arrested on a partner or family member assault charge and on a Justice or City court warrant after a caller on Eighth Avenue West asked Friday at 5:39 p.m. for a deputy to come speak with a family member.

Tyson Michael Shambo of Havre, 21, was arrested on a DUI charge Saturday at 2 a.m.

--

Deputies were called Saturday at 10:19 p.m. to assist another agency at a facility on Sixth Street North.

--

A 10:33 p.m. Sunday complaint about a driver heading westbound on U.S. Highway 2 East was referred to another law enforcement agency.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Friday, two calls Saturday, two Sunday and one early this morning.

Firefighters responded to a Friday 1:58 p.m. report of a downed power line at a street light on the 800 Block of Fifth Avenue. The fire unit provided standby until NorthWestern Energy arrived to repair the line.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held five cats and a 6-month-old kitten all of unknown gender, one female cat one male and three female 17-week-old kittens, two male cats.

The shelter also held a male Akita dog, female mixed-breed dog, a male 25-week-old shepherd puppy, a female 7-month-old mixed-breed puppy and a male 17-week-old shepherd puppy.

Births

A boy was born Friday Oct. 30, 2020, to Stephanie and Roger Larson of Havre.
