Leonard M. Brockie, 68, passed away at the Billings Clinic due to complications from COVID.
His graveside service will be 3:30 p.m. today at Mission Cemetery at the St. Paul Church in Hays.
Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Leonard was born March 25, 1952 in Hays, Montana, to Victor Brockie and Rose Lenore. He was raised and educated in the Hays area. He married Patricia Gopher and together they had six sons.
Leonard worked for various ranches around the area as a ranch hand. With that job came many opportunities to meet people. He enjoyed reading Louis L'Amour books and testing his knowledge by watching "Jeopardy" on television. He enjoyed traveling with Patricia and attending rodeos. His greatest passion was for his grandchildren, whom he loved to watch grow and learn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Patricia "Patsy" in 2018; and siblings Eleanor Brockie-Brown, Pete, Lawrence, and Emmett Brockie.
Leonard is survived by his six sons, Victor (Dolores) Brockie of Spokane, WA, Lance Brockie of Spokane, WA, Leonard W. (Cindy) Brockie Jr. of Spokane, WA, Matthew Brockie of Great Falls, MT, Lawrence (Farrah) Brockie of Box Elder, MT, and Eric Brockie of Great Falls, MT; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and brother Eugene Brockie of Harlem.
