Stanley Gerald "Birdie" Dalby Jr. was called home October 19, 2020.
His wake began at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 20, 2020, Rosary is at 7:00 p.m. today, October 21, 2020, followed by his funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 24, 2020, all at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Box Elder.

Stanley was born February 25, 1940, to Stanley Dalby Sr. and Polly Price. He was a member of the three affiliated tribes of the Prairie Chicken Clan.
Stanley served his country enlisting at the age of 17 in the Army. He then attended Haskell Indian College where he went into the trade of bricklaying. From there, he went to Dallas, Texas, and married Pauline Russette whom he later divorced. Together they had three children.
Stanley spent most of his life in Dallas, Texas, for year-round work. He later moved to Box Elder, Montana, to be near family. He enjoyed his work, spending time with his grandchildren, playing cards and watching his old westerns.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Vernon and Mark; sisters, Sandra Dalby Childers, Wanda Driver, and Katherine Dalby; brothers, Vernon, Alan, Keith and Sherman.
Stanley is survived by his daughter, Stacy Dalby of Box Elder, MT, and his six grandchildren, Shea, Cody, Tessa, Darlee, Markita and Morris Jr.
