Havre High cancels regular season finale against Central

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused plenty of issues with the 2020 high school football season. And now it's ended the Havre Blue Ponies' year.

On Monday morning, the Havre High Continuance of Play Committee met and determined that this Friday's game between the Blue Ponies and Billings Central Rams, set for Blue Pony Stadium, will be canceled. Havre AD Brian Kessler said that the Ponies currently have 33 players in quarentine.

The cancellation against the Rams means Havre's season comes to a close with a 1-5 overall record. The Ponies played at Sidney last Friday night. This weekend marked the end of the Class A regular season with the playoffs set to begin next week.

Kessler also noted that all other HHS activities are still moving forward as scheduled.
