State COVID-19 update, Oct. 19, 2020

Blaine and Hill counties each reported one new COVID-19-related death over the weekend.

The total number of cases of COVID-19 in Montana on the state map after today’s 10 a.m. update was 23,990 with 569 new cases. The number of hospitalizations, including people hospitalized before being tested, was 1,020 with 339 active hospitalizations. The number of tests completed was 442,366 with 11,232 new tests listed this morning. The number of deaths was 241. The number of recoveries was 13,538 and the number of active cases was 9,611.

Local cases by county:

Hill: 31 new cases, 505 total, 208 active, 8 active hospitalizations, 284 recovered, 13 deaths

Liberty: No new cases, 28 total, 3 active, 25 recovered

Blaine: 22 new cases, 229 total, 135 active, 9 active hospitalizations, 91 recovered, 3 deaths

Chouteau: 2 new cases, 56 total, 16 active, 40 recovered
