HHS harriers run well in Billings

After a short turnaround, the Havre Blue Pony cross country teams were right back in action. Havre made the long trip to Billings for the Billings Central Invite Tuesday.

The Havre girls did quite well against tough Eastern A competition, finishing second in the meet, while the HHS boys placed a solid fourth, as well.

Sadie Filius paced the Pony girls with a third-place run in 20:51, while Tamera O’Leary finished in seven with a time of 21:33 and Hannah Haslem was ninth with a time of 21:55. Loy Waid finished in 12th place while Maleigha Fuzesy was 19th.

On the boys side, Dylan Young was tops for the Ponies with a time of 18:04, good for seventh place. Caleb Tomac placed 14th for the Ponies, while Riley Pleninger was 17th.

The Ponies wrap up the regular season next week in Lewistown.
