Havre Police Department

Tessa Leigh Meyers of Box Elder, 24, was arrested on a charge of partner or family member assault after a First Street caller asked Thursday at 7:39 a.m. to have a tenant checked on after a domestic disturbance.

Officers investigated a two-vehicle, non-injury crash reported on Third Street Thursday at 11:10 a.m.

A caller reported a vehicle crash at 1:32 p.m. Thursday at U.S. Highway 2 East.

A vehicle crash was reported Thursday at 5:07 p.m. on Fourth Street.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Sheriff's office dispatch log reported no arrests, summonses or investigations.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to four calls Thursday.

Wednesday at 6:43 p.m., firefighters responded to a report of a power line down on the 1300 Block of Washington Avenue, but the downed line turned out to be a Department of Transportation traffic counter laid across the street.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two 8-week-old and one 21-week-old kittens all of unknown gender, four female cats, two male 7-month-old kittens, four male cats, one female and two male 11-week-old kittens and one male 6-month-old kitten.

The shelter also held one male and one female mixed-breed 18-week-old puppies, a female 15-week-old Australian cattle dog-blue heeler cross, a female 22-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a male mixed-breed dog, a male border collie dog, a female 6-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a male 9-month-old German shepherd puppy and a female pit bull terrier dog.
