Josh Warp, Havre High Golf

Havre High senior Josh Warp has been at this golf thing for a while now. And he’s already had some good days this fall. None, though, have compared to last Thursday when Warp fired a two-over par 74 in the Billings Central Invite. The career-best round by Warp, who is also an All-Conference basketball and tennis player at Havre, gave him third place in Billings, and he followed that up with a 10th-place finish at the Laurel Invite last Friday.

Sadie Filius, Havre High XC

It’s just her first year of running high school cross country, but Havre’s Sadie Filius looks to be right at home. Filius, a junior, posted a Top 5 finish at the season-opening Havre Invitational two weeks ago, then backed that up with an 11th-place finish in the Fergus Invite last Friday in Lewistown. Though Filius is in her first year of cross country, she’s no stranger to running, as she stands out on the track, as well as being Class A All-State twice in basketball.
