Zachary James Flansburg of Havre, 26, was arrested on a charge of endangering the welfare of children and Arden David Flansburg Jr. of Havre, 29, was issued as summons on a charge of endangering the welfare of children after a Third Street caller asked Sunday at 7:15 p.m. for a well-being check on a relative.

Deputies investigated an incident reported Friday at 7:25 p.m. at a U.S. Highway 2 West business.

Kaydeen Rose Healy of Havre, 19, was arrested on a charge of violation of a protective order after a caller asked Friday at 9:30 p.m. for assistance at a U.S. Highway 2 West business.

Havre Fire Department
Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Friday, two Saturday, eight Sunday and one early this morning.

Firefighters responded Friday at 1:36 p.m. to a mutual aid call requested by Bear Paw Volunteer Fire Department on a haystack fire on the 6000 Block of Bullhook Road. The Bear Paw VFD crew had the fire controlled and contained, said Havre Fire Assistant Chief Nathan Courtnage, but they needed more water for final mop up so Havre Fire sent a truck.
Havre Animal Shelter
The shelter this morning held two 7-week-old kittens of unknown gender, four female cats, two male 7-month-old kittens, five male cats, one female and two male 10-week-old kittens, one male 22-week-old kitten and one male 6-month-old kitten.

The shelter also held one male and one female mixed-breed 17-week-old puppies, a female 22-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a male mixed-breed dog, a male border collie dog, a female 6-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a male 9-month-old German shepherd dog and a female pit bull terrier dog.
