Tatum Hull, CJI Volleyball

Chester-Joplin-Inverness junior Tatum Hull is no stranger to volleyball success on the Hi-Line. But to start the 2020 season, Hull has been on a tear. And that tear continued in the Hawks’ 3-0 sweep of Centerville last weekend. In that win, Hull had 13 kills, 24 digs, two aces and three blocks as well as a perfect serve percentage. Hull, who is also an All-Conference performer in basketball and on the track, and the Hawks had their match with Hays-Lodge Pole canceled.

Billy Ullery, Fort Benton Football

The Fort Benton Longhorns were going to be good this season, especially with so many seniors returning. And that's just how it's turned out. And one of those seniors, Billy Ullery, had a huge night for the Horns in their blowout win over Rocky Boy last Friday. Ullery had a pair of interception returns for touchdowns, while also shining on the offensive end for the top-ranked Longhorns, who won their Northern C showdown with the Stars, 72-6. Ullery also competes in basketball and track and field at Fort Benton.
